First of all, the project provided for the optimization of the management of trade and distribution activities of VOLHOVETS Group of Companies. The solution on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform provided more efficient product planning, control over the passage of orders for products and storage of information about its implementation, simplifying the work of a manufacturing company with sales offices and a dealer network of VOLHOVETS Group. Besides, During the project, Odyssey Consulting Group specialists automated financial and management accounting, including the planning of financial transactions with monitoring of cash flow. VOLHOVETS Group of Companies has created a unified centralized repository of nomenclature and reference information available for use by all companies of the group. analysis and maintenance of various forms of reporting on the financial and economic activities of a group of companies. The solution on the IBM Cognos Express platform covered the entire cycle of forming financial budgets (income and expense budget, cash flow budget, final balance sheet, etc.). ) from the planning stage to the plan-factual analysis of execution and reporting for each enterprise and the VOLHOVETS group of companies as a whole.

The Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation project was launched by the project team of VOLHOVETS Group of Companies and Odyssey Consulting Group in March 2012, IBM Cognos Express in May 2012. The whole range of works on automation of distribution management processes was completed by the end of 2012. The transition to IBM Cognos Express was carried out by the start of planning the new budget year.
