The active development of the business of the Hoff furniture and home goods hypermarket chain has led to a significant increase in the volume of manual processing of documents and electronic correspondence. In particular, orders were sent to suppliers via e-mails, which did not provide adequate control over the process of communication with suppliers. Hoff specialists needed to implement an electronic data interchange system that automates routine operations and a system for transferring orders to suppliers.

The technical implementation took three months, and the project was carried out by in-house Hoff specialists with the support of Odyssey consultants. The project is currently in the replication phase, with plans to move all suppliers to an electronic ordering system by the end of the year.
