Project prerequisites
Need for a unified system to manage
Mirra-M is the oldest MLM distributor of cosmetics, perfumes, dietary supplements and accessories in Russia, operating in 200 cities worldwide. The developing business of the company required the creation of a unified information system that would unite all business processes, increase transparency and manageability of the company. The new owner and head of the business decided to create a single IT-circuit of the company, which would replace a lot of self-written systems that are not integrated with each other. Odyssey became the implementation partner.
"Odyssey experts offered us a comprehensive approach to IT infrastructure development, a true digital transformation. The partners considered not only our wishes, worked out a concept of integrated IT system based on the ERP solution, but also suggested a strategic vision of Mirra: enter the new sales channels, create an E-commerce and create a unified customer service system. We were convinced that Odyssey were the experts in their field and we decided to work with them," said Daniel Samokhvalov, Mirra CEO.
Odyssey consultants suggested to create a unified system for management of all the business processes in the company based on 1C: 1C:ERP and 1C:Trade Management. The choice was determined by the high efficiency of the solutions: according to the 1C Company data, the systems implementation allows to increase the turnover of the stock by 23%, decrease the prime cost of the products (by 9% on average), and improve the company performance. Under the project it was planned to create a unified information system for production, purchasing, warehouse management, sales, and distribution centers. It will allow the company to increase the transparency of supply chains, ensure inventory traceability, control the quality and shelf life of the products, increase the accuracy of production forecasts and operate with actual data at all its stages, reduce costs and improve product margin, as well as flexibly manage the sales and bonus system for distributors.
Project results
Automation of supply chain management was completed, with sales and distribution coming next Production, Procurement and Warehouse Management blocks were put into commercial operation in Q3 2021. This approach to the launch of ERP was made possible due to the modularity of 1C system: the solution can be implemented in blocks for each business process separately, which allows you to focus on each business function, as well as to provide a smooth transition from fragmented self-written systems to a single ERP solution.
