The Grozd network consists of about 230 stores located in 25 cities of the Saratov region. More than 200 thousand people visit the company's points of sale daily. The total number of personnel involved in customer service is more than 5 thousand. In addition to 8 thousand goods of suppliers, the Grozd chain produces and successfully sells about 200 products under its own brand name Taste of Life. and distributors to send information about the turnover of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products to the Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation (FSRAR) using Unified State Automated Information System (EGAIS). This led to the need for retailers to install special software. Grozd retail chain needed a solution that ensures the registration of retail sales in EGAIS in accordance with the requirements of the regulator, and also reflects in the system all movements of alcoholic beverages during the purchase, movement, returns and write-off of goods.
Grozd retail chain already had experience of cooperation with Odyssey Consulting Group. Previously implemented projects showed good results, which prompted the customer's management to work with a proven partner — the project was performed by Odyssey Consulting Group specialists.
Grozd's experts were looking for a software product that could minimize all the difficulties and peculiarities of working with alcoholic products. Also, the trading network focused on those solutions that would not require a significant increase in the amount of manual labor for data entry and additional integration with the ERP system. Own development of Odyssey Consulting Group has supplemented Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 tools with advanced functionality of interaction with EGAIS adapted to customer's business processes. The key point of the work was timely launch of the display functionality in EGAIS for the acceptance of alcoholic products from suppliers. Before the implementation of the plans, Columbus consultants reviewed the EGAIS documentation and analyzed the technical requirements for data transfer to the system. Until January 1, 2016, it was necessary to set up mechanisms for interaction with directories of alcoholic products, alcohol suppliers, etc., and then automate the main chain of goods movement. As part of the second stage, until October 01, 2016, specialists brought the balances of alcoholic products in the EGAIS into line with the balances in the accounting system.
A new department for working with EGAIS has been specially created. Specialists of Odyssey Consulting Group held consultations among the staff of the central office, after which the employees of shops were trained in the training center of the "Grozd" company. created an optimal software solution for us, which allowed us to use as little time and resources as possible when working with alcoholic products. We have switched to working with the system within the time frame stipulated by law and are satisfied with the professionalism of the company's employees,” notes Andrey Makhnovets, IT director of the trading network “ Bunch".
As a result of the project, the main goal was achieved - setting up work with EGAIS & nbsp; within the framework of the standards adopted by the regulator. In addition, the trading network has succeeded in improving the quality of accounting for alcoholic products, automating the entire chain of distribution, and, importantly, minimizing the labor of staff when working with alcohol.
the solution clearly fulfills the requirements of the regulator, while development using the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform, familiar to the retail chain, has saved the customer's resources. We advise all distributors and retailers to pay attention to the volumes and the complexity of working with EGAIS. It is important to reduce labor intensity interaction
