On March 2nd, Odyssey Consulting Group participated in NAV Forum 2012: Business Day after Tomorrow, organized by Microsoft at Digital October in Moscow. The idea of the organizers was to bring together talented and ambitious businessmen who are ready to make strategic decisions and be leaders in any situation. NAV Forum 2012 became that reality by bringing together owners, general, financial and IT directors of the leading Russian companies. The event was attended by many Microsoft partners, but the Odyssey Consulting Group booth was different from the others. In support of ready-made solutions for Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform the marketing department of the company organized a special event, in which Odyssey Consulting Group employees wearing elegant dresses, aprons and hats offered the guests of the forum "ready-made solutions" in exchange for business cards - gingerbread cookies with the company logo.
Those who filled out the participants questionnaires at the booth and left their contact information were lucky enough to win additional souvenirs from Odyssey Consulting Group. In addition, the participants were able to get personal consultations from the experts of the consulting company. It was obvious that the ready-made solutions Odyssey Consulting Group literally came to the attention of participants: many came to the booth again and again, and periodically there was a long line of those who wanted to get the valuable prize. Forum visitors noted that the stand of Odyssey Consulting Group was the most noticeable of all the stands at the event. During the business part of NAV Forum 2012, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with some Odyssey Consulting Group projects of the past year. For example, the results of work in the company "Air Gateway of the Northern Capital" (operator of Pulkovo Airport, St. Petersburg) were announcedin one of the sessions of the first part of the Forum. Sergey Sidorov, head of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV practice, and Yekaterina Evdokimova, coordinator of the Northern Capital Gateway project, spoke about it in their joint report. And almost at the end of the forum Odyssey Consulting Group presented to the audience a project for migration to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0, implemented in the "SladCo" confectionery company.
