On the 7th of October Odyssey Consulting Group in cooperation with Microsoft has organized a practical seminar "Sales and Service Management in Sales and Production Companies". The event was attended by marketing managers, sales directors and IT specialists from a number of leading Russian and foreign companies. The participants learned how Microsoft's customer-centric strategy and technologies can help a company attract and retain new customers and open up new avenues for business development. The seminar started with a report on key principles of customer relationship management to improve company competitiveness. Continuing the theme, the expert spoke on Microsoft Dynamics CRM. He described in detail the features and benefits of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 to solve the problems of sales, marketing, and service management. A representative of Berner & Stafford spoke about the methodologies of sales management and ways to increase client loyalty in the Russian realities. Presentations were accompanied by practical examples of using a CRM-system from Microsoft in production and sales-distribution companies and caused a wide discussion among the listeners.

A more detailed acquaintance of the seminar participants with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 took place in a specially equipped laboratory classroom. The attendees personally tested the system's tools for conducting marketing campaigns, supporting potential deals, controlling and planning sales, registering client requests, and managing their service. In addition, in the practical part of the seminar, everyone was able to get personalized advice from experts from Microsoft and Odyssey Consulting Group.
