IT-consulting company Odyssey Consulting Group implements the local accounting system based on "1C: Holding Management" to one of the largest mobile developers of the world - Playrix Company. The customer has been using the capabilities of the system since January 2020.
Playrix, a mobile game developer, now has offices around the world. It is headquartered in Dublin and has offices in Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia and other countries. Many of the company's business units historically used 1C products for management, accounting and reporting. To make the transition to a new system as comfortable as possible for the majority of the company's employees, the "1C:Holding Management" solution was chosen. The system is designed to automate accounting, planning and business performance control, helping to implement the business strategy at all levels of management.
Main problems
A cloud solution, which could not be quickly modified and scaled to the needs of the company was used for accounting in Ireland.
Slow closure of each period - more than 30 days
No control access to data and its variability
No built-in control changes master data and approval of accounting transactions
No mechanisms for the collection and generation of reports, so you have to perform operations manually
The project with Playrix is the first case of 1Ci implementation in Ireland and the first sale of 1C solution outside Russia and the CIS. The risks were that previously there were no similar automation projects, the tasks were performed in conditions of changing processes of such Playrix partners as Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft. But the high qualification of the executor and client teams made it possible to reduce all the difficulties to manageable and solvable tasks.
"First of all, this is the first implementation of 1C : Holding Management in Ireland. At the start there was a definite challenge to achieve the project goals. Secondly, this is a completely remote implementation: members of the Playrix and Odyssey project teams were spread across different countries and cities. The efficient use of combination of tools for distributed work played an important role in the success: Asana as a task tracker, Slack and Zoom for communication within the project,"- said Igor Yergunov, Odyssey project manager.

The uploading of data on revenue from partners and on payments from banks has been implemented. The company has been using the new system since January 2020. Data for 2019 has been provided to the auditors from the new system. Starting in 2020, the accounting is entirely in 1C only.
