Until 2009, the calculation wages in Rockwool Russia for workers was carried out in the Concorde XAL system, and an external company handled the calculation for engineers. The calculation data received from the external company was loaded into Concorde XAL for the formation of accounting entries and into Cognos Business Intelligence for the preparation of analytical data as part of management reporting. All this did not allow promptly providing employees with the necessary information. At that time, the Rockwool Russia group of companies included 2 factories located in the city of Zheleznodorozhny, Moscow Region and in Vyborg, Leningrad Region, with a total number of more than 1000 people. In 2011, Rockwool-Russia management decided to switch to a new version of Microsoft Dynamics AX, and since January 2012 this project has been successfully implemented. By this time, the manufacturer of non-combustible insulation opened two more plants: in Troitsk (Chelyabinsk region) and Yelabuga (Republic of Tatarstan). Currently, the Russian division of Rockwool employs more than 2,000 employees.
